As a busy mother with two school-aged, neurospicy kids, I not only understand how overwhelming it can feel to plan photos, but how difficult it can feel to find room for it on your calendar. That's why I built this whole process with you in mind. From the moment you reach out, to the day you hang your photos up, it is my top priority to make sure you aren't bombarded with decisions. At the core of this business is a mom just like you - doing her best for her babies one day at a time. I was blessed to have a pretty amazing village growing up, and because of that I infuse that same love and community into everything I offer through Kailah James.
When you book with me, you really gain a mom friend who won't judge your mess, can hang with the rowdiest of littles, and truly designs the session around your family's needs and lifestyle. Because you deserve to have photos in your home that reflect the real seasons you've lived through.
So I hope you know you when you're here, you truly have a seat at the table. It may be covered in paint and construction paper, but we'll make space for you and your babies all the same!

Hey there, I’m Kailah — a lifestyle motherhood & family photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee. As a mom, it is not lost on my how quickly time flies — and how important taking pictures is! Because of that, I really value who you are, where you’re at, and what makes you, well, you!
